First, let me say thanks. Five days ago, I wrote to say "I'm in" the race for NH Executive Council and ask for your support. We set an ambitious goal of 100 individual donations in 48 hours before our official kick-off Saturday. I'm proud to report that we beat our goal by raising 121 donations, mostly in increments of $25, $50, or $100!  And they haven't stopped yet…
If you didn't get a chance, it's not too late to become a founding member of our campaign!
Now for the big news. My opponent in the Primary, former State Rep. Jennifer Daler, just announced that she is out of the race and throwing her support behind me! Jennifer is a respected public servant who would have run a strong campaign. Her endorsement allows us to unify the party and focus on a tough general election against incumbent Councilor David Wheeler, whose longstanding opposition to rail, renewable energy, access to healthcare, and more is a major reason why I entered this race.
I'm grateful to Jennifer, our many contributors, and the roughly 60 supporters who braved the freezing temperatures on Saturday morning to kick off the campaign in Nashua's Railroad Square. It was an honor to stand with so many local leaders including Nashua Mayor Jim Donchess as I announced my bid for New Hampshire's second-highest office and pledged to answer your call (phone in hand!) as a responsible steward of state spending and appointments. You can check out photos and video of the launch and accompanying Walk to Stop Heroin on our campaign Facebook page; media coverage from New Hampshire's leading outlets is available on our website.
Help us make this a people-powered campaign by joining in today!
Yours in Service,
