Dan Weeks Celebrates National Ice Cream Day with Creamery Tour of District 5

Weeks invites citizens of all stripes to share ice cream and ideas on five-stop tour

NASHUA - On National Ice Cream Day, Sunday, July 17th, Executive Council candidate and Open Democracy leader Dan Weeks will head out on yet another tour of District 5, aimed at engaging everyday citizens in the democratic process.
"I've always believed that democracy can't be confined to government buildings or Election Day -- it must be practiced on street corners, in barber shops, and ice cream parlors every day," Weeks said. "I am firmly committed to connecting with fellow citizens all across District 5 and hearing their concerns using every means available, including something we all can agree on: ice cream! In the months ahead, I will continue reaching out personally through parades, handshake tours, service projects, community conversations, etc. to build common ground. I urge my opponent to do the same."
The itinerary for the Ice Cream Tour is as follows:

1:15 pm - Findeisen’s Ice Cream (297 Derry Road, Hudson)
2:00 pm - King Kone (336 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack)
2:45 pm - Hayward’s Ice Cream (38 Elm Street, Milford)
4:00 pm - Dan speaks to House District 38 Democrats (761 Forest Rd, Greenfield)
